Pierhouse Development | Brooklyn Bridge Park NY

Located in New York, Brooklyn Bridge Park,
on Pier 1, Pierhouse sits at the intersection of historic Brooklyn Heights and DUMBO.
Once a rural village along the Brooklyn waterfront, then one of the world's busiest ports, and now a renowned park and residential wonderland, Pierhouse serves as a verdant extension of the park, facilitating pedestrian access through the building, and maintaining water views. Planted terraces traverse the façade, recalling the visual landscape of Brooklyn Heights, gradually stepping down to meet the green lawn. The building presents two faces: one that responds to the fabric of brownstone Brooklyn and the other, which allows every residence to experience unparalleled views of the New York harbor and the park. Metal and limestone reflect the straightforward material integrity of the park design and the white granite of the nearby Brooklyn Bridge piers.

From the composting units in every residence to the rainwater irrigation system, Pierhouse was designed with a holistic approach intended to preserve the environment.
Residences at Pierhouse feature: wood floors from 600-year-old heartwood pine reclaimed from local warehouses, high-efficiency interior and exterior LED lighting, automatic, energy-efficient solar shade system
Between the amenities: a fitness center + a meditation studio, a children's playroom, an hotel and a pet wash space. The perfect place for my exercises and my furry friends clean.
