Flack Studio | East Melbourne Residence

"If walls could talk, the rooms of this Victorian terrace could tell a story or two about the house’s incarnations over its lifetime.Moving on from a 1990s renovation, we focused on the bathroom, lounge and bedrooms, with the kitchen to be transformed in due course when the demands of welcoming a newborn to the family have settled.
The scheme’s backdrop is subtle. Soft taupe and white is complemented by natural, textural materials, including linen curtains, American oak joinery, and a custom bamboo and silk stair runner, and graphically punctuated with flashes of brass and black steel."
